Christmas is over, but the holiday season isn’t (we still got the New Year up ahead). I hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and friends during the holidays. The time just seems to fly by during this season.
To say “goodbye, see you next year” to Christmas, I’m posting my favorite Christmas cookie designs for 2011. Looking at these desserts, I wish I was a baker, but alas, I’ll stick to admiring the people who make these gorgeous cookies.
You can’t fight the cold weather without some fashionable scarves! I’ve been wearing my scarves a lot this season (I didn’t realize I had so many). I love adding a little extra detail to an outfit, so wrapping a lovely scarf around my neck not only keeps me warm, it makes me look like I care about what I’m wearing. Love is in the details. ♥

We Found Love - Rihanna
I’ve been really digging this song; I loudly sing along to whenever I hear on the radio. I can see myself shaking it on a dance floor while this song is blaring through the speakers, everyone’s hands up in the air, moving to the beat. It’s a great party song!
Burning fireplaces, fuzzy slippers, layers of clothing and hot cocoa - it’s the many things that are helpful in keeping warm during the Fall and Winter months. One of my favorite ways to protect from the frigid conditions and simultaneously fill my empty belly is eating a warm sandwich with an even warmer bowl of soup. That’s why when I spotted a Panera Bread being built in my neighborhood, I saw where I would be enjoying my future meals. ☺ Half of the Steak Balsamico Panini with the cup of Broccoli Cheese Soup hit the spot (I like dipping my sandwich into my soup, it softens the bread)! They have so many great choices and you can pick and choose your desired combination, which I’m sure I will be taking advantage of soon enough.
